Research

Research plays an important role in the implementation of the National Functional Literacy Programme (NFLP). Its role is achieved through scientific investigations into problem areas of the programme and feeding back research recommendations into programme planning and implementation.

The mission of the unit is to ensure development and sustainability of the NFLP through the provision of accurate information for management decision making.

To achieve its mission, it conducts studies on each programme component to identify their strengths and weaknesses to ensure improved programme implementation through innovations.
